We know that caring for aging parents or planning for your own future can feel overwhelming. That’s where we come in. At Berg Bryant Elder Law Group, we walk alongside caregivers and families like yours, helping protect what you’ve worked so hard to build while ensuring your loved ones receive the care they deserve.
Whether you’re dealing with Medicaid planning, setting up a Special Needs Trust for a disabled family member, or navigating the probate process after losing someone dear, we’re here to guide you with patience and understanding. We handle the legal complexities so you can focus on what matters most – spending quality time with your family.
We love meeting with families face-to-face in our offices throughout Northeast Florida – from Jacksonville Beach to St. Augustine, Orange Park to Fernandina Beach. But we also understand that life doesn’t always make in-person meetings possible. That’s why we’ve embraced technology to connect with caregivers wherever they are, using video calls and secure online portals to make legal planning as convenient as possible for busy families.
Our story began on May 1, 2016, when two passionate elder law attorneys came together with a simple but powerful vision: to create a law firm that truly cares about the people it serves.
Rebecca Berg was one of the pioneers in elder law – literally one of the first attorneys in the entire country to become board-certified in this specialty. For decades, she was the go-to attorney for Northeast Florida families facing the toughest decisions about aging and disability. Rebecca didn’t just practice law; she mentored countless attorneys and helped shape the entire profession. Her wisdom and compassion continue to inspire everything we do today.
Kellen Bryant started his own practice just two years out of law school with nothing but determination and a heart for helping families. Over seven years, he built his elder law practice from the ground up, eventually earning the opportunity to partner with Rebecca – the most respected elder law attorney in our community. It was a dream come true and a testament to his dedication to serving others.
Today, alongside our partner Carla Trinca-Conley, we carry forward Rebecca’s legacy with one simple goal: to be the law firm that Northeast Florida families turn to when they need someone who truly understands what they’re going through. We want our community to be known nationwide for how well we care for our aging and disabled neighbors – because that’s what they deserve.
Serving clients throughout Duval, St. Johns, Clay, and Nassau Counties including Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach, Ponte Vedra Beach, Orange Park, Fleming Island, St. Augustine, and surrounding areas.
